Instructional Coaches expand the intellectual and creative horizons of GSE student entrepreneurs by providing leadership in ideation, product/service design and development, components of a business model and business pitches. Emphasis is placed on innovation, customer development (validation), and triple bottom line philosophy. Instructional Coaches must be willing and able to use non-traditional and participatory methods, with minimal lecturing. They must relate well and communicate effectively with creative students ages 14-18. They should be enthusiastic and flexible enough to keep pace with GSE’s intensive, ever-changing environment. **Positions Filled for 2017** 

GSE is hiring up to five Team Leaders.  Employment dates are June 19 - July 16, 2017. Team Leaders work directly with the Instructional Coaches and Program Director to help guide the student teams through the process of their product/service design, development, and through the components of a business model.  Team Leaders should be good at motivating students, spotting and addressing conflict early, and keeping teams on task. Upper level undergraduate students, graduate students and teachers make great Team Leaders.  Prior knowledge of business models and business startups is a huge plus, but not required.

Mandatory training is provided from June 19 - June 24.

Pay is based on experience and background. A room and all meals are provided at no cost.  Team Leaders are expected to participate in a living-learning/working situation with the students which may include evenings and weekends.  


**Positions Filled for Summer 2017**

GSE is hiring up to eight Resident Advisors for Summer 2017.  Employment dates are June 19 - July 16, 2017. Each Resident Adviser is responsible for supervising the residential life of approximately 12-18 high school age entrepreneurs.  RAs will maintain an ongoing relationship with entrepreneurs, plan and supervise social activities, stimulate conversation and excitement among entrepreneurs, foster an atmosphere of cooperation and caring, and provide advice concerning personal and social adjustments to being away from home.

Resident Advisors are paid and will be provided a room and all meals. Every Resident Advisor is on duty every day including during weekends with one day off per week. The most concentrated time for duty will be late afternoon, evenings and early morning. RAs are “on call” throughout the night. Each RA is required to attend mandatory training June 19 – June 24, 2017.

GSE is hiring one Digital Media Intern for Summer 2017. Employment dates are June 19 - July 16, 2016. The Digital Media Intern helps create and publish digital content from the GSE Summer program. He/she assists in creating and maintaining an archive of digital images, videos, and other content. Responsibilities include:

1. Capture in photography, audio, and video the students and staff during GSE.

2. Create digital projects from the media for online distribution.

3. Update social media accounts with current and relevant photos and videos from GSE activities and events.

4. Organize digital images for storage.

Mandatory training is provided from June 19 - June 25. Position is full time for one month, and individual will be provided room and board on campus.

**Application Closed, Position Filled**

The Resident Director is responsible for supervising a residential staff of eight RAs. This is a management role that requires maturity and experience. This position is a temporary, full-time position beginning in early June, 2017 (start date is flexible) through July 16, 2017. Pay is based on experience and housing and meals on campus are provided. Candidate may commute if he or she lives close enough to Lexington. Hours are irregular and will involve evenings and weekends. 

The duties of Resident Director include:

1. Developing and maintaining an ongoing relationship with a staff of eight undergraduate age RAs. The Resident Director will be a resource person in regard to student physical, social and psychological health, and be able to provide advice to the RAs regarding how to address the general problems and responsibilities of group living and to help students with social adjustments. The right person will be able to ensure that the program’s rules and expectations are being met within a fun, positive atmosphere. 

2. Maintaining and managing the RA staff work schedules and duty assignments.

3. Working closely with the Program Director and keeping lines of communication open on all matters concerning the RA staff and students.
